Speaking Schedule

October 24, 2018
Howard Payne University Chapel
Brownwood, Texas

Anne is on a speaking hiatus but will accept a limited amount of requests as she and her husband Tim welcome their new baby into their family. If you would like to inquire about Anne speaking at your event, please email her at anne@annemariemiller.com.

Anne is a popular speaker at churches, conferences, retreats and colleges. In the last ten years, she’s shared her message from the stage for hundreds of thousands of people of all ages as a keynote speaker, workshop leader, or in the role of a Sunday service teacher. She’s a graduate of SCORRE, a dynamic course for communicators and public speakers.

Known for her conversational and witty demeanor, Anne Marie doesn’t hide difficult truths or shy away from the messiness of life. It is from these broken places that the greatest light, the grace of our God, is seen. This is hope.

Anne has spoken at over 100 churches in the last seven years ranging in size from 45-3000 and ages 12 to 97. Anne considers herself non-denominational but grew up in the Baptist church, was ordained in a former Southern Baptist church overseen by a Presbyterian minister and found refreshing hope in the liturgy in the Anglican church. She currently attends a non-denominational church. She considers herself theologically conservative and loves learning and discussing different ideas and views with others in a kind and peaceful manner.

“It was a privilege to have Anne Marie Miller as our guest for our youth leaders conference. She is a gifted communicator who offers a transparent approach to delivering the powerful message of hope and grace.”- Jim Sparks, The Salvation Army – USA West

“Anne brings and authenticity to her speaking born out of rich life experiences and her deep commitment to Christ. She is one who manages to speak to the masses, and at the same time make you feel like she is speaking directly to you.”Dr. Kate Davelaar Guthrie,  International Program’s Coordinator at Duke’s Center for Reconciliation

“Anne Marie Miller spoke with candor and insight about the challenges of living honestly and compassionately with ourselves and others.  Through telling her own story she encouraged our students to take the risk of being vulnerable with one another and so move further down the path of freedom from the sins that weigh us down and the fear that cripples genuine community.”
Greg W. Carmer, Ph.D.
Dean of Christian Life & Theologian in Residence
Gordon College

“Anne was a fresh voice and dealt with challenging issues that many people shy away from. I really appreciated her open and honest approach without having to shock people with too many details that can sometimes take people off track. We’ve heard a lot of great feedback. Her message of restoration and relationship was truly reflected in our ability to work together.”
Mike Wright
Ledge Leadership
Ontario, Canada

“We invited Anne Jackson in to help us with our “TRUE” series. As Anne spoke there was an immediate connection with the students and although the subject “True Sexual Freedom” is awkward in any context, she approached the subject with grace and biblical insights. Anne is a gifted author and speaker and her ability to share her struggles and keep the focus on Christ and His work is powerful. We plan on having Anne back and I would recommend her as a keynote speaker or break-out leader for youth, college, and young adult audiences without reservation.”
Eric E. Pratt, Ph.D.
Vice President for Christian Development
Mississippi College

“Anne Marie Miller tells the truth in such a way you can hear it. She is an objective journalist, and as such an endangered species. She’s living proof that the truth, if stated clearly and objectively, can be fascinating.”
Donald Miller
Author, Scary CloseBlue Like Jazz and A Million Miles in a Thousand Years

“Anne has an uncanny ability to share vulnerable, real life stories in a life-giving, disarming way. Anne has a gift for sharing the real stuff of life that invites people in instead of scaring them off. I think there’s a bias in churches (even those that ordain women) and in our society to discount female speakers. Anne brings the complete package in a way that will garner the respect of any audience.”
Joshua Miller
Church of the Ascension
Founder of Pub Club, Pittsburgh

“Anne made this talk extremely personal not only by sharing her story, but allowing the students freedom to incorporate their own insights. Anne did a phenomenal job, and even now, students are still talking about that chapel!”
Amberly Vincent
Interim Chapel Coordinator
George Fox University, Portland, OR

  1. As a man who must constantly buffet his mind and body in order to keep it in subjection, I was beyond surprised by the thought that pornographic immersion is an issue with young women–particularly, Believing young women. I admire the candor and courage that broaching this subject must require and bid you and your pupils complete and lasting deliverance from this stronghold.
